陆前进，1962年出生，籍贯湖南衡阳，长聘教授，博士生导师，中国医学科学院皮肤病医院（研究所）执行院（所）长，中华医学会皮肤性病学分会主任委员，亚洲皮肤病学会理事，从事皮肤科临床、教学及科研三十余年，在国际上首次命名一种新型红斑狼疮，建立了红斑狼疮表观遗传发病机制理论，牵头制定国际皮肤型红斑狼疮诊疗指南。以第一作者或通信作者在Lancet，JAMA，Blood，J Clin Invest等国际著名医学杂志发表SCI论文200余篇，作为第一完成人获国家科技进步二等奖等奖项。

擅长自身免疫性皮肤病表观遗传机制、转化与临床研究，建立了系统性红斑狼疮表观遗传发病机制新理论，创建红斑狼疮 DNA甲基化诊断新技术，研发红斑狼疮等皮肤病人工智能辅助诊断新工具，突破现有诊断瓶颈。
